The COVID-19 pandemic presents a number of overlapping and unprecedented challenges, impacting all parts of Canadian life: how we socialize, how we work, how we get our essentials, and how we maintain our overall health and well-being.
WellCan, brought to you by a community of partners, provides a hub for mental health resources and tools to help all Canadians maintain positive mental, physical, social and financial health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The WellCan App is free to download and available to all Canadians in English and French.
Responding to the mental health impact of COVID-19, WellCan provides evidence-based health screenings to help Canadians evaluate risks of potential health problems:
- Depression (PHQ-9)
- General Anxiety (GAD-7)
- Alcohol Use (AUDIT)
- Drug Abuse (DAST)
WellCan features articles, infographics, toolkits and more to help Canadians of all ages maintain positive mental, physical, social and financial well-being.
The content is consistent with recommendations from the Government of Canada and health authorities like the World Health Organization.
Concerned about your health? Wondering if you can care for yourself at home, or need to see a doctor? WellCan provides a telehealth directory to help you navigate through public telehealth services and support resources within your province.
Thank you to Morneau Sheppell and all the partners who have come together in the spirit of public service to support Canadians.
