Investment Planning

Having an investment plan is an essential part of your overall financial plan.

Investment planning matches your financial goals and objectives with investment resources including both non-registered and registered investments such as segregated funds, mutual funds, GIC’s, term investments and savings bonds. Investment plans often include savings vehicles such as RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, RRIFs, LIRAs, just to name a few.

Use of appropriate investment vehicles based on your financial objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance, diversification, liquidity and level of return is key.

As an independent brokerage we’re able to focus on investments that are an appropriate fit for our clients. We also tend to be fairly conservative, given our expertise in risk management. We recommend an annual review of your investment plan so that you can see how well your investments are doing and make any necessary adjustments required by changing economic markets or personal circumstances.
